Build The Mansion (BTM) is a personal, independently operated project inspired by the original Resident Evil mansion. We're growing it through live tournaments, architectural CAD development, and transparent, level-by-level fundraising. The future main hall is a proposed project—not an existing or approved building.

Build convention-ready tournament hardware and custom BTM software for classic and modern games.
Advance real CAD studies toward professionally designed, engineered, and eventually buildable facilities.
Hundreds of small contributions can fund meaningful milestones. Choose an amount that works for you—or simply follow the project. Everyone is welcome at our conventions.

These original BTM CAD studies show the proposed mansion's multi-level layout and internal spaces. Our first construction-focused design target is the iconic main hall, with guest facilities behind the stairs and appropriate parking and access planning.
These are concept drawings, not stamped construction documents. Licensed design professionals, a site selection process, code reviews and permits will be necessary for physical construction.
Every convention earns its own place in BTM history. Champions are recognized by event and year, with championship plaques and verified results.

BTM Convention Championship
Champion details to be announcedMO Game Con 2026 champion and score have been confirmed. We’ll add Steven’s plaque photograph with permission. TORG 2026 champion details are pending confirmation.
Each level has a specific funding goal and purpose. Levels 1–10 build the foundation; Level 11 opens the next tier—actual main hall construction. All figures below are proposed goals, not funds already raised. We will only mark a level funded or completed after verification.
Convention travel, promotional materials, tournament operations, and community awareness.
Two modern gaming systems, displays, controllers, and initial BTM software research and development.
Add two systems and extend tournament controls and networking.
Add two more PCs and validate six-player event performance.
Reach an eight-station hardware target and expand classic tournament capacity.
Develop professional plans using existing CAD as the starting point. Include the main hall, space behind the stairs for potential lodging, merchandising and restrooms, circulation and accessibility. Include an early concept model or visualization.
Structural and foundation design; mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering; fire and life-safety coordination.
Surveying, parking and access plans, civil engineering, utilities, geotechnical work, permit coordination and design contingency. Site-specific work will require a selected property.
Commission a detailed physical model of the iconic main hall for convention exhibits, presentations and future fundraising.
Evaluate suitable Southern Illinois property and fund acquisition or deposits, appropriate due diligence, and preliminary site establishment. This is a suggested allowance, not a verified property price.
Level amounts are additional funding targets; cumulative amounts add previous levels. Budgets are preliminary and may change with professional bids, site conditions, taxes and payment fees. DuckStation figures assume four independently running classic instances per PC, pending real-world performance and physical station testing. Modern game BTM integrations require separate engineering and validation.
Every new PC increases the number of modern games we can run independently and expands our potential classic DuckStation capacity.
Classic counts are projected game instances, not promises of fully equipped tournament seats. Equipment, game compatibility, and publisher/event permissions must be addressed before deployment.
Tier II — The Main Hall Construction Phase. After architectural design, engineering, and property establishment, BTM's next chapter begins with the physical main hall: approved site preparation, foundations and structural work.
Level 11 construction funding goal: to be determined from contractor estimates. Actual construction depends on land control, permits, approved plans and sufficient funds.
